Tubesca-Comabi’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment protocol aligns with the frameworks of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, and is supported by the continuous improvement of the company’s processes. The aim is to guarantee high-quality products and services, and to work with employees to develop a citizen-focused and responsible working environment.

QUALITY
Tubesca-Comabi has been ISO 9001-certified for more than 20 years. Above all, this standard governs Quality Management in a broad sense, as it aims to index all company processes to create added value (product or service). This way, the company’s documents follow a production chain and enable the delivery of compliant products and capitalisation of the company’s expertise, all whilst ensuring traceability.
Moreover, Tubesca-Comabi has its own, in-house testing lab based on the Ailly-sur-Noye production site. Tubesca-Comabi’s qualified technicians oversee the quality control of all product references, from components to finished products. The lab works closely with certifying organisations and clients alike.
The laboratory works on:
- Production: Product quality control, compliance and certification;
- Verification: Monitoring product manufacture and control;
- Recording: Entering results and managing testing documents
- Continuous improvement: Participation in the drafting and improvement of testing protocols.
SAFETY
On top of this is the production of a unique document for managing the company’s safety instruction traceability. This assesses the professional risks within the company and takes into account the health and safety of its employees.
ENVIRONMENT
In parallel, Tubesca-Comabi wanted to integrate sustainable development challenges into its management system and has now obtained the ISO 14001 certification for its industrial site in Ailly-sur-Noye (FR).
Being awarded this certificate reflects our continuous efforts to reduce our business activity’s environmental impacts (waste management, good environmental practices, communication with stakeholders, etc.).
For 2023, Tubesca-Comabi has set itself the ambition of obtaining the ISO 14001 certification for all its industrial sites, and is aiming for the ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 triple certification.
Recently, in the aim of satisfying client requirements, Tubesca-Comabi undertook an additional CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) protocol. This protocol groups together all of the company’s practices, which aim to comply with the principles of sustainable development, that are namely economically viable and that have a positive impact on both society and the environment To this end, Tubesca-Comabi has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal for 2023!
These certifications guarantee the high level of quality offered by our products:
- Our ranges are tested by independent labs which guarantee our products’ traceability.
- Tubesca-Comabi works closely with all of the national and European organisations governing standards and health & safety.
- Tubesca-Comabi is also a member of the French and European Commissions for safe working at heights; and it’s also a member of the scaffolding union.
The products are not only certified, but are also (for the most part) labelled by specific laboratories, recognised in all European Union countries. The labels are not mandatory and are the result of a voluntary process undertaken by the manufacturer. They’re issued by official laboratories, certifying product compliance with the applicable standards and legislation.
Through its manufacturing process, Tubesca-Comabi also complies with the European standards associated with business uses and products.
EN 1090: Certifying the quality of products for fixed structures or structural elements in aluminium and/or stainless steel.
EN 131: Certifying the quality of products for the ladder, stepladder and platform ranges.
EN 1004: Certifying the quality of products for scaffold towers
. NFP 93-355: Certifying the quality of products for guardrails.
EN 361 – 358 – 813: Certifying the quality of products for personal protection equipment.
EN 12810 and EN 12811: Certifying the quality of fixed and façade scaffolding with pre-fabricated elements.
