Guardrail height = 1100 mm; Distance between rails = 500 mm minimum. Toeboard height = 100 mm minimum; Distance between posts = 1500 mm max. Guardrail required for platform heights greater than 500 mm. Standard step width = 600 mm – 800 mm or 1000 mm. Platform length as standard: 600 mm with option to extend up to 3000 mm except for stairway with platform (1000 mm), Step load capacity = 150 kg; Permissible distributed load = 200 Kg/m2
> For 45° climbing sections
Maximum height per flight = 4000 mm;
Step depth = 225 mm.
> For 60° climbing sections
Maximum height per flight = 3000 mm;
Step depth = 175 mm.
For safety reasons, we recommend using stairs with a 45° incline. A 60° inclination of the stairway is tolerated for use in confined spaces, in which case the user must descend facing the stairway.
NOTE: Safety standards recommend covering the steps and platform in grating for outdoor use.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR MODULAR STAIRWAY?
- Choosing the guardrail type:With or without a platform
- Choose the incline angle: 45° or 60° (for comfort and safety, choose a 45° angle if space permits)
- Choose the height range
- Choose the width of the steps:600 mm, 800 mm or 1000 mm
- Choose the length of the platform: 600 mm (standard) or can be extended by 50 mm up to 3000 mm

- Torsion-resistant, frame-mounted steps.
- The stairway is secured with square brackets at each end.
- 1 handrail as standard, can be mounted on the left or right side. For a 45° incline, a bend section midrail is integrated.
- Optional 2nd handrail.

- Steps fixed to uprights with screws. Cross-section of uprights 100 x 25 mm.
- The stairway is secured with square brackets at each end.
- Platform length as standard: 600mm. Extensions can be added by 50 mm up to 1000 mm .
- 1 handrail as standard, can be mounted on the left or right side. Platform with guardrail on 1 side, height 1100 mm with midrails and toeboards.
- 2nd handrail with optional guardrail.
- Stairway with 45° tilt and midrails.
