William Didier, 34 years old, is at the head of the company “WD Peinture” which he founded in 2021 in Eyragues in the Alpilles (Bouches-du-Rhône). WD peinture is specialised in renovation, especially after water damage and for stucco. When doing his work, William relies on his skills and experience to fully satisfy his clients’ demands.
What does he like most about his job? Starting from a run-down state and managing to make the customers’ eyes light up with the final result.
For William, being a painter is a passion! A portrait of a craftsman who is passionate about his work.
Painting expert: a profession to be learned from an early age
After studying space design and starting out as an architect, William felt the need to get away from his desk and do some manual work: painting.
At secondary school, he did an internship with a painter, who later became his first employer, and he spent his weekends on building sites with his uncle, a painter. And he has never stopped since: whether it was for his family, friends, or later on as a professional, William has always worked in painting. Encouraged by his wife during the first confinement, he set up his own individual company in 2021, guided by 3 strong values:
- Listening to the customer and their needs
- Meticulousness
- Rigour
Tubesca-Comabi products, long-time companions on building sites
In order to work effectively, safety should not be a barrier: William has been using Tubesca-Comabi equipment since his college days and he appreciates the stability, durability and safety of his scaffolding tower and ladder when working both indoors and outdoors.
“When I was still working for my old boss, we had to paint a DIY sign and some high-rise cladding. We had one of your scaffoldings, so in terms of stability no worries, but I was younger and I definitely wasn’t showing off when I had to climb up the inside, then I had to go over the landings… Now I’ve become more confident and it’s better! »
His favourite product? The Cross 180
