TUBESCA-COMABI LAUNCHES ITS LATEST SLAB ACCESS LADDER TO COMPLETE ITS RANGE FOR THE BUILDING AND PUBLIC WORK AND TRANSPORT SECTORS
Tubesca-Comabi, the French leader in the manufacture and marketing of solutions for accessing and working at height, is adding to its range of products for the building and public work sector with a new slab access ladder and product developments, particularly for the excavation ladder. This high-performance range now meets all the needs of the building industry.
The latest innovations and developments in this building and public work range
After the excavation ladder launched in 2021 and also improved in 2022, TUBESCA-COMAB presents the slab access ladder. These two complementary products are both telescopic thanks to the presence of sliding sections that can be adapted to any height. The brand has optimised the design of these two ladders (one made for climbing up, the other for climbing down) to ensure their longevity and to meet the need to access excavations and slabs at the same time.
The slab access ladder suited to all construction sites
The slab access ladder is available in 3 telescopic models to suit all needs. It is used to access up to 4.80 m. The ladder can be fixed to the floor or to the slab using special 0 10 mm plates. Finally, the security gate has an automatic closing system. The
product meets strict requirements to guarantee user safety.
The excavation ladder – the new generation ladder for accessing up to 4.75 m
This aluminium ladder is used to descend into excavations ranging from 1.00 to 4.75 m and can be adapted to all configurations (foundations, site excavation, etc.). 3 telescopic models are available for all excavation depths . The 80 mm steps, access ramps, swivel runners and front exit guarantee complete safety for the user both when climbing up and climbing down.
This ultra-practical ladder, with its telescopic system, adjustable feet, crane rings and castors, is becoming an essential item. Its folding anti-tilt system ensures stability and facilitates height adjustment and transport.
100% French, designed and manufactured in TUBESCA COMABI’s two production sites in France (Ailly-sur-Noye and Trévoux), these solutions comply with the French and European standards in force. More generally, this building and public work range consists of platforms steps, ladders, scaffolding towers, material lifts, etc. which are now all liftable and therefore easily for professionals to transport to sites.

The process of developing this building and public work range took two years of work and included important tasks and steps, including product design, tests carried out internally at within the company, situation tests by craftsmen to take into account their feedback, the approval process, etc.
