Individual Mobile Platforms (IMP) and Lightweight Individual Mobile Platforms (LIMP) are essential tools for long-term, repetitive, or daily work at heights. Designed to provide secure workstations, these compact structures facilitate access to raised areas whilst guaranteeing user safety. Choosing the right platform is a crucial step for guaranteeing productivity, safety, and comfort during work at heights.
In this article, we’ll take a look at the key factors to consider when choosing an individual platform, so you can optimise your work at heights.
Here at Tubesca-Comabi, we have 53 IMP/LIMP for you to choose from, so it’s essential that you take into account the specific context in which you’ll be using your individual platform. Each work environment comes with its own, specific challenges and requirements, which is why Tubesca-Comabi has created two separate ranges to respond to these various needs.
Good to know: The question of IMP versus LIMP comes down to the height of the platform. When the platform height is between 0.50 m and 1.50 m, you’ll be after a LIMP, whereas an IMP will be the better choice for platform heights above 1.50 m (and up to 2.50 m maximum).
